Our Founder
Richard Crauford
Janox was founded by Richard Crauford, one of the most passionate and capable hydraulic engineers in British Columbia. Richard created Janox with the mission to provide top-notch hydraulic solutions to meet the needs of various sectors, including hydro, marine, material handling. He has turned Janox into the go-to company for engineering, building, installing, and servicing hydraulic systems for Canada’s most critical industries.
Richard has instilled the highest standards of engineering, service, and care to the Janox team. His pride of work and mentorship is an ongoing legacy at Janox. With his extensive expertise and leadership skills, he continues to play a crucial role in guiding our engineering projects to success.

In 2022, Janox joined the Boundary Mining Group (BMG). Through this acquisition, the company is better able to cater to the multifaceted hydraulic needs of the mining sector by pioneering hydraulic solutions in realms like rope shovels, haul trucks, and mineral processing.
