One example of a Janox hydraulic component repair project was the complete disassembly, inspection, and re-build of generator brakes. This particular re-build required both machining the piston bore and installing stainless-steel sleeves with interference fit. Once we finished the repairs, we assembled each brake, tested them, and then painted them.
