Port Mann Bridge
The Port Mann bridge is a cable-stayed design, meaning the bridge deck is suspended by cables anchored to the concrete towers above the bridge. Janox supplied custom winches and controls to install the cables between the towers and the bridge deck. The system of 16 winches was radio controlled, and used to install 920 miles of cable over two years of varying weather conditions.
Janox also provided custom-designed construction equipment for the Pitt River Bridge in Port Coquitlam, and the Columbia River Skywalk, a pedestrian crossing in Trail, BC.
