LNG Pipeline Construction

Janox designed and manufactured hydraulics and controls to launch five massive LNG pipe modules along the trestle between the LNG storage tank and the ship loading dock. Each module was 48 m long, weighed approximately 350 tonnes, and had to be moved 2km.

During slow and careful movement over varying terrain, the complex system of 36 cylinders supplied with linear position transducers, automatically adjusted to minimize deflection of the massive module.
